How We Style It: Camel & Black
First of all, I would like to say HAPPY THANKSGIVING to everyone!! This year I am thankful for my wonderful fiance and family, my friends, my job and co-workers, and of course, Miss Allison. I think it was about this time last year that we started talking about launching a blog together and what an amazing year it's been. Trying to balance our careers, relationships, friendships and the blog without going insane has been challenging (there may have been a few breakdowns for each of us along the way), but I am so grateful to have someone who is in the exact same position that I can turn to. I hope you all have as good of friend as Allison in your lives! On that note, let's all cheers to friendship!
Now back to our regularly scheduled programming with this week's How We Style It.
I don't know about you all, but I am LOVING the warm, rich colors this winter. Of all of the colors in style right now, I seem to have camel and black on constant rotation. The rotation has only increased since I picked up this faboo quilted vest at the Ralph Lauren outlet. I always thought I was too pale for camel but when I popped it on, I knew I had to have it.

In addition to my RL vest, I reached waaaaay back into my closet for this faux fur-collar camel coat. I've had it for years but wasn't sure I could pull it off. Enter this season's styles and SF's freezing temps and I decided to take a change. I think it will become one of my regular pieces!
I'm not the only one rocking a throwback this week. Allison is rocking her high school camel cords. That's right, I said HIGH SCHOOL. I have to admit, I'm pretty jealous she can still fit into them. Also, how chic does Allison look in her camel turtleneck and black blazer? I think I may need to pick up one of a camel turtleneck myself this Black Friday!
