Wedding Planning 101: Engagement Photo Shoot Look

How adorable is this shot?!

Back in August, I posted on Classic Bride about looks for a fall engagement photo shoot. As my fiancĂ© and I are going to take our photos this weekend I am fast at work on our looks. I wanted to share the sort of fall engagement photo shoot looks I am thinking about with all of the Tartan & Sequins readers.

I originally hadn't planned to taking engagement photos as we weren't thinking of leveraging them for our Save The Dates. We still aren't going that route but after seeing all of the photos that wedding website templates require- it's totally necessary! Now that we're doing the photos, I am also very much looking forward to having professional photos of us to hang around the house. You know, to fill all those frames I was told to register for ;)

Napa in the fall.

But what does one wear for a fall
e-sesh? It's going to be slightly chilly outside but a sweater or a jacket might be a bit too bulky. I am thinking that a flowy blouse and boots might be the perfect combo. Throw in a couple of great pieces of jewelry and add some wavy curls and the look is pure causal glamour. Check out two of my favorite looks below!

  2. Bright colors seem to make pictures pop! And be sure to wear something that you are comfortable in and is you-it'll show in the pics if you aren't comfortable. And most of all have fun :)

  3. Yes definitely do bright colors! Prints can be busy and take away from the picture! How exciting :).
