Happy Housewarming

My boyfriend and I just moved into our new apartment a couple of months ago. This is both of ours first times living with a significant other so needless to say, we have been on a mad dash to make our house a home. Things have taken a wee bit longer than had planned and before we were ready to have a housewarming, we started receiving gifts. 

Aside from the big ticket items that our parents were so kind to get us- a black lacquer console table and gold-plated silverware service for eight :)- our friends have been so creative and wonderful with the gifts. I mean, its actually kind of a tricky gift to get because you are usually buying something for the home without having seen it to know the style. My friends’ great success at the task has compelled me to start putting together a list of fabulous housewarming gifts:
