How We Style It: Sporty Chic

"How We Style It - Sporty Chic," by Sara Renner of Avtomobile
There's something so appealing and all-American about the classic items that come to mind when I think of "sporty chic" - whether it's a vintage college tee, a pair of Chuck Taylors, a shirt for your hometown team in muted colors, a pinstriped kids' baseball tee, or a down vest, the look is grown-up girl-next-door with a little bit of polish.

My inspiration for this week's "HWSI" came from this look on J. Crew's homepage - trés adorable, no? It totally reminds me of my mom's style (which is a good thing, babes - she's Tomboy Style to the max)!

Without further ado...here's our take on sporty chic! Be sure to leave a comment and let us know how you do sporty chic (whether it's a super cute baseball cap, the perfect jeans, or a baseball tee that we simply must try)!
