Lauren's Look for Less: Year-Round White

I saw this picture on People.com during my normal Monday morning procrastination routine. I don't know whether to love or hate Jessica Biel. On the one hand, who didn't want to be Mary on '7th Heaven'? On the other, the girl is married to Mr. Sexy Back himself (probably the reason for the big, beautiful smile on her face). In any case, her winter white dress and simple accessories are awesome.

A dress like this is a perfect piece to wear now sans tights (with sandals or nude/tan chunky pumps) and later in the fall/winter with tights and boots (textured ivory or brown tights with tall brown boots would look great). I found this version at H&M:

One of my favorite things about Jessica's outfit is the over-the-sleeve cuff she's rocking. Here's an option from Forever 21:

The pale blue clutch is a good way to incorporate color into the otherwise neutral outfit. I tend to forget about Target as a clothes/accessories shopping option, but they really have awesome stuff for very reasonable prices, like this clutch:
