How We Style It: Animal Print

Is that the same tunic I wore in last week's HWSI? You bet your a** it is. This time it's a cover-up.
What can I say, I was in Palm Springs!

Now, I realize we already did a HWSI: Leopard Print, but if any of you follow me on Instagram, you know that I love me some animal print. In preparation for my trip to Palm Springs this past weekend, I broke out of my regular obsession with leopard and picked up a snake print dress. I know, I'm outrageous. Of course, I brought a leopard print dress too but follow me here.

I actually am terrible at buying and wearing prints- as in, I don't ever. But for some reason, animal print is the exception to the rule. I think it can be bold or neutral depending on what it's paired with. It's nothing if not diverse! Check out our looks below :)

  1. Love this post! I'm a soul sister who can't get enough of animal prints! Allison, I've been dying to get the mona tassel heels that you so fashionably pair with red capris. Are they comfy? True to size? I've read to order a 1/2 size down.

    1. Thanks so much, so glad to know we have another spirit animal out there!! ;) I found that the mona tassel heels run true to size esp for J. Crew shoes - I took an 8 in them and I am typically an 8 in all J. Crew shoes. They're a little bit snug but I just HATE having a gap in the back of my heels once they get broken in! I usually wear a 7.5 or an 8 in other brands. Hope that helps! xo Allison

    1. I got it at LF in the spring and have not been able to find a close match! It's basically a mumu with a spandex dress underneath, which I love ha!
