Cold Shoulder

A couple of weeks ago, I went a little wild online shopping. When the items started trickling in through the mail, I realized that I was super into one trend: off-the-shoulder. Like everything I ordered was off-the-shoulder. After trying on all of the pieces though, I only kept a few things, of which this top was one. I like that it's in my safety zone (black) but has the fun, flirty sleeve. I have to give credit where credit is due and say I first spotted this top on the super stylish Emily.

When it came to styling the top, I tried it on with several pairs of jeans but nothing was looking right. That's when I had the idea to pair it with flared jeans. Given that flared jeans only recently came back in style, I didn't have anything new so I had to go back into the archives. I say archives because, well, these jeans are from high school. I didn't get rid of them because they were my first designer jeans (I was sentimental) and I'm a hoarder but I'm so glad I held onto them!
