Easter Brunch

Easter is kind of a big deal in my house. My husband and I, while not being very religious at all, both always give something up for Lent, so Easter is such a fun day! This year, as with most, I gave up sweets, and my husband gave up whiskey. I'm not going to lie, the first couple of weeks were tough, the middle was fine, but now that we're so close, I can't wait to indulge!

This year, we are having a few friends over for Easter Brunch. We are making all sorts of indulgent goodies - from chocolate chip pancakes to massive amounts of bacon to cupcakes! I've been dreaming of the menu for weeks and now am so excited the day is almost here.

No Easter celebration would be complete without massive amounts of preppy pastel decorations right?! I scoured Pinterest to find inspiration, and while I'm sure our soiree will be nowhere as fancy as these, here are some of my favorites:
