Carbon Copy: Mid-Century Living Room

Hello Tartan & Sequins! I'm Lauren from Copper+Walnut and I'm back to provide your monthly dose of interior design. I just got back from the furniture market in North Carolina and am overflowing with ideas and inspiration. For today's Carbon Copy I was influenced by all of the mid-century modern we saw and fell head over heels for this sleek, cool room {via}:

There something about the clean yet inviting feel of mid-century design that I am drawn too. You can keep it modern by choosing statement lighting, but stay true to the era with wood tables and straight lines in your furniture.

chandelier // sofa {in off white} // rug // nesting tables // coffee table // lamp

The pillows, in cool couture, are part of my custom furniture line and come free with the purchase of any sofa! As always, I like to invest in good upholstery, pick a statement piece {chandelier in this case} and then fill in the rest with vintage and bargain finds. If you're looking for daily design inspiration don't forget to check out my blog and follow me on pinterest!
